Bundy Ranch...America under siege

They’re talking about it on the streets, in bars, grange halls, barber shops, little league games, and the malls.  The story that wouldn’t go away is now on everyone’s mind, all around the world.  

Lots of truth and lots of misinformation is flying from both sides of the issue; lines are quickly being drawn in the sand and as the world holds its breath, Patriots from all over America are converging on a ranch in Nevada in support of one man and his family that have had enough of an over-reaching government involved in selective enforcement.  I say selective because far more egregious laws are ignored all the time.  At the end of the day, all that happened was his cattle were grazing; and for that…all of this! 

In case you live in a cave deep in the Amazon and haven’t heard, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his family have become the unwilling poster children for ‘enough is enough.’  Because, while it is their issue with the government that is raging at center stage, it is merely a symptom of a much larger problem that pits We the People against what has become a bloated, self-serving goliath of tyranny.

Let’s break it down to bite sized chunks here for a minute so it’s easy to understand and wrap your arms around.  First of all, the Bundy’s have been ranching and “homestead” grazing their cattle on that same property in Nevada since at least 1888.

Since the early 1990’s they’ve been in a legal battle with the government concerning not only who owns the land, but also about their right to continue grazing on it after over 125 years.  There is also an issue regarding some sort of per cow grazing fee which they have chosen not to comply with. 

Fast forward to 2014 for a moment and suddenly there are “endangered” Tortoises on that property that the government feels the need to protect from this horrible rancher and his cattle.  Mind you, in all the time and all the cattle raised since 1888, few, if any Tortoises have been harmed or even complained about it.  

So, if you’ll pardon the intended pun, what’s the beef all about?  Glad you asked.  This is not about the tortoises at all; in fact, the “endangered” creatures are so plentiful that, “According to an article dated 8/25/13, in the Las Vegas Huffington Post, because of a lack of Federal funding the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center can no longer care for the turtles that they've been caring for since the animals were added to the endangered species list in 1990 and, as a result, "...Officials expect to euthanize more than half the animals in the coming months in preparation for closure at the end of 2014."   Notice that date from last summer.

Now enter everyone’s favorite rat of a senior senator from Nevada, Harry Reid.  It seems that the good senator, like so many in DC, believes he is somehow above it all, and can just do whatever he pleases. Oh, did I forget to mention that Harry owes some favors to a top donor named Harvey Whittemore that happens to be in the Real Estate Development business?

Or that his son is the lead representative for a Chinese concern wanting to build an energy plant on the land?  

Let’s not forget that his former senior advisor, Neil Kornze was recently placed at the helm of the BLM and they purged the real goal from their website in an attempt to hide it.

The corruption surrounding this entire scam reeks to high Heaven; however, as I said earlier, I believe this is a symptom of a much bigger problem.  Sure, a Nevada Rancher is at the center of attention right now, but the real deal is the pushing.

We the People are in the same place as our founders were back in the time leading up to our revolution against the King of England in 1776.  The founders were pushed and pushed by the king for more taxes, unjust dealings, quartering of troops, stamp acts, and all the rest; they did their best to cope with it, but the tyrannical king kept pushing until they had reached the brink and the point of no return.

That is exactly where we are now.  We have been pushed and pushed with higher taxes, the erosion of our culture, and the trampling of our Constitution by a tyrant and his minions.  We have been invaded via our porous borders and the myriad of problems that has wrought upon us, and our enemies are coddled while our friends are dumped on.  All of our Constitutional rights are being attacked and watered down on a daily basis.  In an effort to advance their agenda to destroy our rights, the current administration orchestrated Fast and Furious which brought about the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens and at least one, and possibly two U.S. Agents with no one held accountable.  

They allowed a U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans to be brutally tortured and murdered in Benghazi, again with no accounting.  Members of the muslim brotherhood have been placed in high positions within our government while our military is simultaneously being neutered via unheard of budget cuts, relaxed rules regarding personal behavior on bases and outrageous rules of engagement when they are in theatre causing inordinate numbers of our troops to return home in body bags.  There are brand new, empty, “special” FEMA camps set up all around the country; perhaps now we know for sure why they have been built. 

We have a potus that is literally ruling by caveat via numerous executive orders, and the very destructive ACA is already collapsing our health system.  In fulfillment of an original campaign statement, our already too high energy prices are beginning to skyrocket, (have you filled your gas tank lately?).  Let’s not forget that the very real enemy of unsustainable and increasing national debt continues to go unchecked.

During the last campaign, potus was caught on video saying to then Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, “…after the election, I’ll have more flexibility,” which Medvedev said he would inform Vladimir of.  

Is the unanswered Russian invasion of the Ukraine part of that flexibility, and is this situation in Nevada part of his flexibility to initiate his ultimate control of the U.S.?  Before and since the last election, he has been systematically removing members of the military high command that are unwilling to do his bidding.

The list goes on and on.  The bottom line is we have been pushed, now very likely too close to the brink of what no one, except potus and his minions, want.  Without a doubt, he has been looking for an excuse to invoke some sort of Martial Law, and this incident, which I believe could very well be the push that turns to shove from this ‘king’ on We the People, could be the impetus that he uses.  There is little doubt in my mind that this is going to escalate rapidly and get very ugly, very fast.  Even if this situation does die down, there will be others, because the pushing won’t stop, and neither will the behind the scenes maneuvering.  And again, all this guy was doing was letting his cattle graze!    

The other side of this is the LEOs and no doubt soon to be troops that are descending on the area; God only knows that no one wants to see anyone hurt, let alone any of them.  But, what to do?  They set up SWAT teams and snipers…SNIPERS against U.S. Citizens?!  There are choppers in the air with FAA restrictions now in place, and they very likely have shut down the cell towers since there does seem to be a problem with communications from the area.  

Are We the People expected to just lay down and allow all of our rights to be completely trampled and stripped from us?!  

We the People are not against the LEOs or the troops, (who are also part of We the People) however, we are against this growing tyranny.  

Let me join the many pundits calling out to the LEOs and troops; please, please, please, look deep within yourselves and do not follow orders now or ever that will pit you against your fellow American Citizens.  Stop to think among yourselves what you are being asked to do, and remember that “just following orders” will not be a successful defense on the other side of such events.

May cool heads prevail, and may God help us during this very dark chapter of our history.

Just before going to press, the BLM has reportedly decided to end the operation…for now.  I believe this proves to them that We the People will stick together and stand up when pushed.
