I never get that warm fuzzy feeling anymore!

So let me ask a question.  Where do you feel safe?  I mean really safe!  At home, at work, at your church/synagogue, shopping at the mall, on vacation in the Bahamas, taking a cruise anywhere, seeing a movie, sunning yourself down at the beach, maybe fishing on a secluded lake or stream, or driving along in your car?  Name your spot and then follow along with me.

The reality is that you and me, and none of our neighbors are safe anywhere and haven’t been for a long time, and probably never will be again.  

In a recent article, former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morell said he "would not be surprised if ISIS shows up at a mall somewhere with an AK-47."  Personally, I'll be surprised if they don't.  

And it could occur anywhere, be it Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Tuscaloosa, AL; Des Moines, IA; Butte, MT; Salt Lake City, UT, Passaic, NJ, Toad Suck, AR; or Winslow, AZ for that matter. Those that are intent on doing us harm are not fussy as to the place; even the big body counts aren’t as important as simply creating an air of anyplace, anytime terror.  

What's to stop them from hitting any theme park they wish in Orlando, a Six Flags, or the Vegas Strip?  Which hospital/clinic protects itself properly from such an attack?  How vulnerable is any professional or local school sporting event?  How protected does anyone living in a gated community really think they are with the normal half dozen or so minimally trained/armed rent a cops?  They’ve already seen how vulnerable those ‘gun free zone' signs have left our schools.

Depending upon where you live, do you think the produce section at Stop n’ Shop, Publix, Winn Dixie, Piggly Wiggly, or Kroeger’s is safe?  Have you seen what they do to buses and trains in Europe?  What makes anyone think they won’t just decide to start planting IED’s along dirt roads in 'Podunk,’ USA?  Let’s not forget that just a little more than a year ago, seven muslim "chemical engineers" were found taking a 'field trip’ just after midnight at the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts, which you can read about here.

The bottom line is that no matter where we are or what we are doing; we are no longer safe from external or internal threats. Our enemies have been allowed to freely infiltrate our society and they will hit such places as I’ve mentioned and lots more just to show that they can.  Sadly, instead of answering such terror with the ferocity it demands, the powers that be will passively swear to "bring them to justice” and little else will be done, and these vermin know it all too well.  Justice is fine for dealing with criminals…however, all acts of terror need to be treated as acts of war, and punished accordingly and very swiftly.  These are people that only understand the sword, but instead of applying the sword, our brave, pillar of strength potus just told our newest and fiercest enemy; y’know, the ones that have a penchant for sawing off heads, crucifying Christians and Jews, and raping everything that moves, "...we don’t have a strategy against them.”  I bet that put a smile on their faces.

Which brings me to the only thing that I actually agree with potus about; we should absolutely close Gitmo.  I will never understand why we ever decided to house our enemies on the 'Pearl of the Caribbean’ and all it has to offer when we have such vast land available to us in the frozen Tundra of No. Alaska!  Frankly, even that’s too good for the little cockroaches for my money; but since our government doesn’t believe in executing blood thirsty, demon worshipping murderers, we should at very least make life as uncomfortable and as unpleasant as possible for them. Of course, they would always be encouraged and given the opportunity to 'escape’ from their harsh wilderness confinement, and while I know it might be considered animal cruelty by some, I for one would be very interested to see if Polar Bears would gag on terrorists.  Although I believe Polar Bears can be trained to hold their noses so I think they’d be okay; and I bet we could get a few Veterinarians to volunteer to check on the critters every so often to make sure. 

But I digress.  America, this is not about political parties, agendas, races, genders, or any isms; we have been deserted by our own government at every level in every way that it is possible. In the name of political correctness, those who would murder and subjugate us are allowed to roam freely among us.  

For the same p/c reasons, grandmothers and little girls from the Heartland of America are treated like criminals and groped by the TSA.  Our ever increasing national debt is not payable and we are on the verge of world-wide financial collapse.  We are not allowed to tap our own resources and be energy independent.  Our military has been neutered while our police have been militarized.  Our enemies are funded and armed by us.  Right is wrong, and wrong is right.

It is time for each of us to look around and take stock, hope and pray for the best, but prepare for the absolute worst.  Listen closely my friends; the alarms are getting louder by the day.  The only answer from our man made mess is from above.  The sooner we recognize that and humble ourselves to Him, the sooner we will begin to heal.
