Brian Mast Announces Bid for US Congress

Our Founding Fathers had a vision.  They dreamed of a country that valued hard work and enterprise; that respected life and liberty.  With few exceptions, they were Christians who believed in God and sought His guidance.  

Since that time, America has seen a lot of ups and downs and changes in the way we do business.   We’ve seen men and women twist and turn the vision of our Founders to fit personal and group agendas.  Politics has become a lucrative career for many.  In fact, very little of what we see in our governance on every level resembles what our founders had in mind. 

Sadly, we have arrived at a place where everything they stood for and risked their lives for is completely upside down, and I have to believe that very little of what we’ve become would find favor among men like George Washington, John Adams, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, or any of the rest.  

They were decent men with unshakable values and principles who lived at a time when those things were not uncommon.  Today, those values and principles are very uncommon; when men and women politicians will say and do anything to attain and hold onto power…even to the point of trampling those who still support decency.

Having said all that, I am happy to report that Brian Mast, a man who understands and embraces the vision and values of our founders has announced his decision to run for the US Congress representing the 18th District of Florida.  

Only in his early 30’s, Brian is a Veteran who has served our nation at great personal loss and continues to serve.  He is a God fearing family man, and I believe if he had been born at the time of our founding, his name would already be in the history books.   You can find out a lot more about him by visiting his website.
